Completion of battery box design through to completion of construction drawings. This project was for a marine electric propulsion company with strict size requirements.

Project #3

Design of jet pump drivetrain section. This project required a drivetrain, bearings and seals to be designed to work in a very small space with tight tolerances, while being open to interact with other unconfirmed parts of the drivetrain.

Concept design and 3D model assembly of tiller components and control actuators for marine environment.

This project required lateral thinking around space and aesthetic issues encompassing a range of materials including carbon fibre and marine alloys

Project #5

3D design of a Chess set, following customers sketches.

Design of individual Chess pieces making up an entire set. Aesthetics were critical to the client, while keeping to a tight budget.

Carbon reverse bucket

Concept and detail design of a carbon composite reverse bucket, molds and build method.

This project required a very lightweight part that fit in a strict space requirement, while deflecting water into a very specific area, an additional requirement of holding itself down during operation meant this project required some very creative thinking.
