The importance of small details, and the flexibility to change are key design drivers for me. My background ranges from composite manufacturing for high performance aerospace and America’s Cup projects, drafting construction drawings for high profile racing and cruising yachts, through to design, assembly and testing of mechanical parts for electric jet boats.

I have a solid understanding of how different materials interact with each other in a marine environment. It is essential to my design practice to consider both mechanical and environmental properties.

This has given me a strong background and experience as a mechanical design engineer.

I use SOLIDWORKS for 3D modelling and simulation.
